Stand-up pouch is the fastest-growing packaging solution, with an annual increase of 7%. It has a gusset area folded inward and upward and sealed on both sides in a way that they can stand up-right. This feature is made possible because of the bottom gusset that is fixed to pouches to make sure that pouches remain steady and durable when filled. And it provides a wide front panel design and great exposure for the product on the shelf.
Bottom gusset types
Round bottom is used use because the appearance is more beautiful. K-Seal bottom and Plow bottom are two more types of bottom gusset pouches which are modified from the round bottom pouches for extra weight capacity.
